My mom's cousin, Linda, over at 2nd Cup of Coffee is hosting a vlog carnival entitled "I See What You're Saying." It's a chance to see and hear the people we usually read, and it gives you a voice to read with in your head. (Know what I mean? I like to "hear" things that I read in the voice of the author.) This is the second ISWYS event, and I have to admit -- I was a SLACKER last time. However, now that I'm in the hospital with Caleb, I have somehow managed to carve a few moments out of the oh-so-busy days of crossword puzzles and Barney videos to make a video. Enjoy!

You are one brave gal - - - me? Not so much!
Check my lists.
Oh Deven. Of course this is my sentimental, heart-tugging, cuteness favorite. He is absolutely adorable. I'm glad it's all over and life will return as you know it. I'm glad this vlog gave you something else to do while waiting out the hours before being discharged. You are quite a natural in front of the camera! Something tells me you get that from your dad as opposed to mom. :) Sending love and blessings and thanks that he's better, Linda
That was really cute! Glad to SEE that Caleb is doing ok. I hope you can go home very soon!
Oh what a precious one, Caleb! My heart goes out to you doing the hard stuff of parenting. I pray he has restored health and you have a wonderful 2009.
So glad the little guy is doing better. Christmas at the hospital couldn't have been fun but obviously you made the best of it. Impressive.
Oh my. What a Christmas you had. So glad he's going better and hopefully home today. Great job on the video!
Little Caleb was in the hospital for Christmas? Hey! Santa knows where all the hospitals in the world are, too!
Get well soon, Kiddo!

linda
What a sweet and strong little guy. I hate that your Christmas was spent in a hospital, but God does work in mysterious ways. He has a plan. My thoughts are with you and your family and I hope he is out soon.
What a cute video! Sorry Caleb had to be in hospital over the holidays but glad he's getting better.
Oh no - baby jail!! yikes. Glad Caleb is getting better and so glad family was able to rally around you guys and Caleb while in the hospital!
Thanks for coming by my vlog! :)
How sweet he is! Praying Caleb will be all better soon!
It was nice to "see" you!
Christmas in the hospital can't be fun, but you definitely put your best foot forward. Great!
Great video! I'm glad all is well and your little man in recovering. Hopefully your New Year celebrations will be more "normal" :) It was great to see what you were saying!
Judah loved the tour and the baby-jail-fort! :)
I'm thrilled to see your sweet boy looking so good!!
What a wonderful tour. So glad your sweetie is doing better
Baby Jail? What a great idea. I am sorry you had to spend Christmas in there but I am so glad that he is doing better.
What a way to spend Christmas. =( I'm glad he is doing better. Hope you guys have a Happy New Year.
Hope you all get to go home tomorrow. Thank God he is feeling better.
He sure seems to be feeling better! Sorry you had to go through that.
Glad to see and hear that Caleb is on the mend!!
Thanks for stopping by. The gold thing on my wall is the thermastat for my house - nothing fancy!!
Wow, Devan, what a week you've had! (Maybe more than a week, eh?) I hope you guys are home by now, but if not, I pray for God's peace on you both tonight.
BTW, that "baby jail" would have come in handy when a certain little on of mine kept trying to climb out of his crib way back when! :-)
Have a great New Year...and thanks for sharing your optimistic attitude!
Most log cabins do go horizontal, but I heard when ours was built it was still a young forest, so the logs weren't large enough to go horizontal, so they made them vertical. I guess we live in a rare home :) Hope you're little guy is doing better and you can be home soon.
You are so calm and collected for being in front of a camera in the hospital.
He is a cute little boy. I pray you get to take him home soon.
Keep getting better, Caleb! My great niece in the pictures with the Dr. Seuss book, is a congenital heart patient...she is truly our miracle at each holiday...she's two now and expecting surgery sometime next year for her 3rd fundo procedure.
Happy New Year...hope you'll get to be at home by then!
I am glad to know that hopefully by now you are out of the hospital. Bravo for inspiring us with your wonderful outlook. You blessed me!
LOVED it! So glad you're able to complete your 'nursing duties' at home!
