Whirlwind Update and Radio Silence

I wish I had more time to write, but --again-- we are getting ready to leave. This time, we're off to Brown County State Park in southern Indiana to enjoy a week-long family celebration in honor of Stephen's parents' 50th anniversary. Ironically, it's about the same thing my family did for Grandpa and Grandma Cole's 50th. We had a good time for that, and I'm sure we will next week also. But because we're packing, cleaning, laundering, and panicking, this is going to be short and sweet.

#1 - We had a great time at Holiday World. Caleb loved the rides as much as Katy. No one cried, and in fact, Caleb kept throwing his hands up in the air and clapping. Katy got to "drive" one of the cars that moves along the track. Fun was had by all. :)

#2 - Still working out job issues. Hopefully more to follow. If there's not more to follow, that would make me unemployed. (...in Greenland!!)

#3 - My brother (and parents) have been to Cleveland and back. It looks like his seizures are coming from one area of the brain (yesssssss). More testing to follow...

#4 - My graduation is on Saturday. Time to iron my robe. WOO to the HOO.

#5 - We got Katy's first school supply list in the mail the other day. I can't even begin to describe the thrill that the words "school supplies" brings to my soul. However, it is a little bittersweet to think that I'm going to enter into the world of school for Katy. There's something slightly unnerving in handing my daughter over to be raised by someone else for 6 hours/day. She's getting really excited. When we get in the car, she tells us, "Guys, preschool starts today. I'm going to live there." :) I'm glad she's looking forward to it.

I'm pretty sure there was more to write, but I forget now because I'm in such a hurry. Pictures and stories to come when we return, unless the start of school just knocks me flat on my back. :)

We will likely be observing radio silence over the next week as we enjoy time with our family. Don't worry -- we're ok. :) Please don't come to our house and steal our stuff. That would be a bummer.

Awww. Thanks! Actually, I found out they have a spot or two with wifi, so I might connect after all. I'll do better if I blog about the trip as we go instead of waiting till we return, especially with the start of school.

Yes, I giggled about woo to the hoo too, but thought "that sounds JUST LIKE Deven!"

I'm still believing you WILL be back with us at LCS this fall - - - and I know our fearless leader WANTS you back (we had a little chat) if he can at all swing it!!!

I absolutely loved the Princess Bride reference! Jim and I use them all the time. For instance,
Me: "What do you think?"
Jim: "It's possible (pause) pig! It's conceivable..."

You get the idea. :)
