Summer!

I am so excited to be on summer break. School has been out for a whole week now, and we've tried to make the most of it. Stephen was also off last week (just felt like a little at-home vacationing), so the first few days were spent together. He has been tackling a garage makeover that includes new siding, a new side entry door, and a new garage door. Of course, starting a project like this doesn't mean that we're only doing those three things. As a matter of fact, it has blossomed far beyond its original scope. Oh well. It will be nice to be able to pull into the garage myself, instead of having Stephen doing it for me because I couldn't open the door. :)

Upcoming events for us include:

Spending time with Grandma while she's up from Texas. This is a picture of Grandma with Katy when she was brand-spankin' new.



Taking my last two master's classes (two week-long classes), leading one step closer to graduation!


Stephen and the kids are going with Ken and Sarah to visit Scott and Jodi while I'm in the second week of class. I'm sorry to miss out on the trip, but it will probably be easier to get work done while they're not there. Here's a picture of lots of Stephen's family from Caleb's dedication. Scott and Jodi are in the upper right-hand corner. Their seven kids are scattered around the group.


We also have VBS and Campmeeting coming up. Think the summer is full? This is all just JUNE!
