Friday's Feast

Believe it or not, I tried to do one of these a few weeks ago. I just deleted it from "posts I'm working on" last night. Whoops.

Appetizer
On a scale of 1 to 10 (with 10 being highest) how much do enjoy watching sports on television?
I'd have to say somewhere around a 4. I'd much rather be at the game than watching it on TV, but hey -- that's a very expensive hobby. I think I'll read a book instead.

Soup
If you could completely memorize any one work of fiction, which one would you pick?
The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh. Partially because it's already on it's way to memorized, and partly because it's got so many quotable quotes. "Days...Weeks...Months...Who knows?" "I'm rumbly in my tumbly." "Time for something sweet..." See what I mean?

Salad
What is your favorite breakfast food?
Toast. Man, oh man, I could eat about 40 slices in one sitting. It's uncomplicated, and you can add lots of things to it: jelly, cinnamon-sugar, honey. Ahhhhh.

Main Course
Name something fun you can do for less than $10.00.
Mini-golf. I haven't been in a long time, but I always thought it was a blast.

Dessert
How long does it usually take you to fall asleep?
Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too long. Usually between 10-40 minutes. The thing that's aggravating is listening to my husband fall asleep in 10 seconds.

I can relate to the sleeping one! Sometimes I think he has fallen asleep in less than 5 seconds...no joke...and then I lay there even longer wondering how in the world he can do that! :)

I am cracking up at your enthusiasm over toast, of all things!

I'm so glad you still love food. Toast is pretty good. I can't find my toaster so I've pretty much been out of toast enjoyment since I moved.

Thanks! Things have gone pretty smoothly so far. I was really worried about the possibility of miscarriage at first ... so many people we know have gone through that. But things are looking great. And I haven't been too sick, so that's been a blessing.
