It's so nice that God takes joy in giving us the delights of our hearts. You all must be some pretty fearsome pray-ers. I took Caleb in for his weight check this morning. I told Stephen that he had better weigh 14 pounds for all he's been eating, but I had a feeling that was not quite where we would be. The news is good!
Friday morning: 8 lbs., 2.3 oz
Monday morning: 8 lbs., 6.4 oz!
That's 4 ounces in 3 days. NORMAL! (Actually, a wee bit better than normal.) My little man has been eating like a piggy. In fact, I'm having trouble keeping up with him, but since he decidedly did NOT like formula, I'm going to do my best.
Thanks for your continued prayers on his behalf.

Yeah! What good news! I think it just takes them a little while to get the hang of it :)

PTL! Since I had a hard time keeping Colin awake to nurse long enough to satisfy him for more than an hour at a time, I nurse him and then pump out the rest after each feeding. It really helped to drain each side after feeding and trick my body into making more milk. BTW, Katy was adorable!
God is such a wonderful creator - - - he gave your body the ability to produce the milk that the baby is calling for. So, if Caleb needs more - - - you will make more!!!!
I'm SOOOOOO glad to hear this news that he has gained those ounces.
That is wonderful...and hopefully a little less stressful for you...
