A Post When I Should Be Prepping

Well, who among us can resist a good distraction? :) (Quiet, all you non-procrastinators.)

1. Tell me the absolute best way to watch a movie.
After the kiddos are asleep. :) (In another lifetime --BK--, I would have answered "At the movie theater in the seats where I can put my feet up on the bars as a footrest.")

2. Do you ever think about your own funeral? If so, do you have specific ideas about how you would like it to be?
Since my dad's a funeral director, I probably think about it a little more frequently than most. I think I kind of do what some people do with weddings -- take the good parts of the ones I've been to and put them in some sort of "wish list" I keep in my mind.

3. Are you more of a giver or a taker?
Awkward question for those of us who are selfish, but OK. I'm a taker who's hoping to become more like her giving Savior.

4. Vacations: planned activities and schedules, or play it by ear?
"Play it by ear" turns into "do nothing" pretty quickly for me, so I like planned activities that are flexible if need be.

5. What is one often overlooked item in your home that needs to be cleaned regularly?
Hands down, the bathtub. Don't come over and look. It's GAH-ROSS.

6. Name a cause that means a lot to you.
Keeping REAL arts study in schools. In a world of rubbish, kids need to learn to see beauty.

7. Do you eat a regular old peanut butter jelly sandwich, or do you customize it? And by the way, jelly or no jelly?
Yum yum yum. One of my favorite foods. I like PB with just about any kind of J, but the ones that really melt my butter are grape and strawberry Js. I threw up a little in my mouth when I read about someone liking butter on theirs. Ewww. Kinda "church potluck" for my tastes. I didn't even know people did that till I had one at church. Someone had put butter on the sandwiches to keep them from getting soggy. That's the stuff nightmares are made from.

8. If we were having a conversation in person, how would I know if you were nervous?
HA! I have an uncontrollable color-changer in my face that makes me gradually turn red when I'm nervous. There goes my poker face...

9. Do you have an elaborate bedtime routine, or just the basics of tooth brushing and jammies?
Remove contacts, brush teeth, and, ever since the cavity of '09, floss.

10. Have you ever regretted something you wrote on your blog?
I think I did once, but I'm so good at erasing that I even erased it from my brain.

11. Has anyone ever told you that you look like a famous person or celebrity? Did you agree?
No, but I get told I look Asian sometimes. I do have really chubby cheeks that squeeze my eyes when I smile.

12. If you were going to dedicate a song to a loved one or friend, what would the song be and to whom would it be dedicated?
Gadzooks. I would say "Until," from the movie Kate and Leopold, and I would send that out to my man. :)

And there you go.

If you love PBJ, than do I have a great idea for you :) Stephen actually introduced it to me, so I guess I can't take full credit ;)

3 slices of bread...

PB on the outside pieces, jelly on one inside piece, set it on one of the PB slices and then jelly the other side...put the other PB slice on top, and ENJOY.

AMAZING. Just the right combination of bread and PB&J. Melt in your mouth... :)

You've got some interesting answers here! I particularly liked the way you started this post: Well who CAN resist a good distraction?

(If we could resist, we wouldn't have blogs, would we?) lol

I like your answer to #3.
The PB&J answer cracked me up.
And I LOVE Kate & Leopold!!

Have a great week!

LOL! I'm Queen Bee Procrastinator! Yep! I wear the crown! Lets waste some time together! hehehe...

My kids did NOT get a say in their ringtones - but they do approve of the ones I selected! ;)

Ohhhh! Arts in the schools! YES!

I know people who put butter on their PBJ... I agree... it's wrong! But... ya just can't change some people! LOL! It beats the heck out of my HUSBAND's idea of a peanutbutter sandwich -- peanutbutter, butter, MUSTARD & CHEESE! Gag me! *shiver*
