Apparently I need to pay a little more attention to Caleb. I was working on writing this post, and I looked up to find this:
In other news, we went to the Children's Museum in Indianapolis yesterday for what will probably be the last visit on my parents' membership. Here are some snaps from the day:
Katy is learning how to drive. She even informed my mom and dad on the way to the museum that Poppy was the driver and they were all passengers. Of course, I taught her those words because she is totally a backseat driver, and she needed to know that only the DRIVER gets to decide how fast or slow to drive and when to stop.
This was Caleb's first time to ride independently on the carousel. He looks much more confident in this picture than he did when it was actually moving. He did do a little bopping up and down to the music, but he refused to let go of that pole. :)
After the carousel, we headed for the "mini-town." Caleb took a position as a soda jerk in the ice cream shoppe.
One of Katy's favorite stops is in Playscape, an area designed for those aged 5 and under. Katy and Caleb both played in the sand table, water table, and Caleb found a fun airplane rocker.
Last but not least, Katy was really excited to see the new comic book super hero exhibit. Not only did they have a costumed employee "hero," but Katy got to dress up as a super hero. She said she's on her way to help someone.
