A Perfect Snow Day

I must say that I didn't want a snow day to be called today. It means we have to have school on Monday -- our last built-in make up day. However, there is one benefit to our snow day today: IWU also canceled. For the first time that I remember, IWU is closed and staff gets to stay home too. It's an all-family snow day!

I agree!! And what is even better is that it looks like it will be the same way tomorrow...at least for part of Wednesday anyway...anxiously awaiting that 10 AM email to let us all know whether we have to go in or not...

Have fun!!!

We had 11 inches as of about 5pm with another few (4-6) coming for overnight. I'm so glad Stephen got that snowblower a couple of winters ago.

Enjoy your second snow day in a row! I'm jealous. We thought moving to Wisconsin would actually let Alex experience the huge snowfall Chris and I grew up with each winter. We couldn't have been more wrong! We're down to just a couple inches of ice/snow mix.

Family snow day! Yeah! Michael & I had one of those too. His school was cancelled Tuesday and Wednesday, and then a two-hour delay on Thurs. My work actually dismissed at noon on Tues and was cancelled Wed! It was a small miracle and I greatly enjoyed my mini-vacation in the middle of the week. We got about 10" total, but I saw on the news how hard Marion was hit. Sorry about your make-up days. Michael's school is now officially out of option days as well :(
