No Texas for us

Today has turned out differently than originally planned. We were going to go to Texas Roadhouse to celebrate my mom's birthday, but as it turned out she was too sick to go. So we relocated the party up to their house in Wabash to make it a less intense affair. At one point the doorbell rang, and I gleefully announced, "The stripper's here!" (I was kidding.) For a woman who's been through a car accident, Momma sure knows how to party. Happy early birthday, Mom. :)

So - - - - was it the strippers?????

I mean, just because you were kidding doesn't mean it WASN'T strippers!!!!

I can just 'see' it now - - - - a policeman singing "Y M C A" and ripping off his shirt. :-)

(Vivid imagination)

Hey everybody!

Thanks for the birthday wishes. I am much better after a quiet weekend and a medicine adjustment. After x-rays taken yesterday, the doctor said that the sternum is healing nicely. About the only time it hurts now is when I cough--which for an allergy sufferer, happens more than I would like, but I am grateful for the Lord's touch and protection during whole ordeal.
