Lookout, mighty Casey! The Swan has returned to the ballfield. That's right -- after a 12-year hiatus, I am returning to the world of softball. My church finally has enough interest to start a team for the local league. When last I played, I was a catcher. I told my coach, Kristy, that it's been so long since I played that I would be willing to play anywhere. My Strength: I have a great attitude. My Weakness: I have no athletic talent whatsoever. I went to my first practice today. It wasn't strenuous at all, and I'm pooped. Oh well. Part of my reason for playing is to get off my duff and get some exercise. The more I have to chase after the balls I miss, the most exercise I'll be getting, right? Right.
